The Role:            

We are seeking a VP of Sales to manage a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives at Elevate K-12. In this role, you will develop and mentor Account Executives; inspiring them, setting the right goals, and holding them accountable. Your team will be responsible for driving revenue with new and existing customers and working cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization to establish and maintain solid client relationships and exceed sales targets. This role reports into our Chief Revenue Officer and is an incredible opportunity for someone excited to make an impact in a rapid-growth sales organization at a company that is changing the future of education!

What you will do: 

  • Own new business development, renewals and expansion. 
  • Build a high performing enterprise sales team that meets/exceeds established quotas 
  • Ensure team maintains key customer relationships while working with Customer Success to develop and implement strategies to expand the accounts 
  • Help develop, optimize, and codify the sales process to drive the performance of the team  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop account plans that optimize revenue and retention opportunities 
  • Develop a metrics-based approach to managing your book of business and collect data to determine the true probability of delivering on commitment 
  • Hire exceptional talent, develop the processes to onboard and train new sales executives, and continuously coach them to succeed in our fast-paced growth environment 
  • Partner with key stakeholders in business development, marketing, ops, and customer success to help position the team for optimal performance 

Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of enterprise value-based selling and 5+ years of senior sales leadership experience building and leading exceptional sales teams that consistently meet/exceed sales targets 
  • Proven track record of working with Enterprise accounts and expanding the footprint and use cases that drive customer value and revenue growth, SaaS experience preferred 
  • Proven success working in a fast paced, high growth start-up 
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing a sales pipeline and forecast that is timely and accurate 
  • Experience recruiting and enabling exceptional sales professionals who consistently deliver results 
  • Track record of selling big deals ($1M+ ACV) 
  • Experience using data to make decisions that optimize revenue generation 
  • Experience partnering effectively with peer teams across revenue operations, marketing, customer success 
  • 20% travel to meet prospects/customers.
