Elevate K-12 Shows Support this International Women’s Day

March 8, 2021

A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.

At Elevate K-12, we are raising our hands up high and showing our support. As a company, we are building inclusive workplaces so women can thrive, and forging women’s empowerment. Over 70% of Elevate K-12 employees are women including the entire operations team and the majority of our leadership team. Our women leaders are outstanding at what they do and thrive in roles that are statistically dominated by men. See how our outstanding women leaders choose to challenge.

Shaily Baranwal

Founder, CEO

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. Any success comes only from hard work, determination, a great attitude, and a system of continuous learning. If you have that, you can achieve anything you want, irrespective of gender. I would challenge all women today to lead with confidence, to be direct, be assertive, and use the power of your compassion and EQ to change the world. If someone cannot take either one of those attributes, especially the fact that you can be direct, then truthfully, that is their problem and not yours. Go ahead girls, shatter every belief and lead with confidence!”

“I raise my hand to participate in International Women’s day to celebrate the hundreds of women educators that we have working for Elevate K-12 to provide live, virtual, high-quality instruction in classrooms around the country.”

Senior VP of Operations

“I accept the challenge today because growing up I was told I could be anything I wanted to be, but as a girl that meant I had to prove I was better than the boys. The truth is I don’t regret proving all those boys wrong. International women’s day is about celebrating every woman whose road to success was paved by the ceilings they shattered and all the boys that served as “motivational support” during that journey.”

Ferdie Sen

Feride Sen

VP of Finance & Accounting

“There have been novel shifts in work dynamics for large and small companies alike. More women are entering upper echelon positions. I raise my hand for all the women moving up the ladder to stand where I stand today.”

“I celebrate every woman who has fought against all the odds, overcome the imposing barriers, and has striven passionately to break the glass ceilings in her line of work. On this International Women’s Day 2021, I raise my hand in support of all the inspiring women leaders on our team who have helped build our ‘Elevated’ culture. One that respects, appreciates, and empowers women, in our company, and beyond, because ’empowered women empower the world’!”
