The Person:

Plan, organize & manage product delivery Infrastructure, effectively manage escalations across Infrastructure Operations. This includes maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly Network infrastructure.

He is responsible for ensuring the performance and availability of the overall IT Network infrastructure for the product with effective capacity planning. This role includes significant input into the overall strategic vision of the IT Infrastructure Operations.

The Job:

  • Manage the core product and delivery network infrastructures in Azure and the colocation/data center
  • Directly manage escalations and coordinate across all stakeholders & ensure the right action plan.
  • Observe and provide feedback to the team on how to adhere to processes, procedures and overall incident management to ensure effective response to assigned escalations.
  • Monitoring daily live operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Defining the IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical host computer resources
  • Analyzing business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Drive capacity planning exercises proactively and timely manner.
  • Process management around Infrastructure needs, such as configuration management,

regulatory compliance, service ticketing etc.

  • Engage with vendors on right product, right pricing, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure 24x7 uptime and support for, critical services at ElevateK12, and tracking and reporting any service outages/downtimes
  • Plan and manage license management.

What you will need:

  • 15+ years of experience in the IT Infrastructure operations space with similar setup or higher.
  • Experience in Data Centre management including service operation and expansions and project work
  • Experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure architecture, data centers, servers, and networks
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
  • Technology certifications including but not limited to Microsoft, AWS, VMWare, Cisco.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to Servers, Virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Video Streaming, Endpoint Protection, wireless LAN, Cloud (AWS & Azure), Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability
  • Strong exposure to high availability and scalable architectures in cloud
  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Sciences, technical qualification, or related fields or with adequate year of experience
  • Driven capacity planning exercises proactively
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Engaged with vendors.
