Elevater of the Month - Siddharth K.
Welcome to another ETalk, where we introduce an amazing person at Elevate K-12 involved in revolutionizing education through high-quality live online instruction inside schools!
Name: Siddharth K.
Location: Mumbai, India
Experience With Elevate K-12: 1 year
Current Role: Infrastructure Architect
Describe what you do in one sentence.
We enable technology to cater high-quality instruction to all students, anywhere, with greater equity, accessibility, and zero disruptions so they focus on closing achievement gaps.
What excites you most about working at Elevate K-12?
I am excited about the culture we have where we all work together towards the common goal to promote a different approach to learning.
What's a "normal" day like for you at Elevate K-12?
Every day when I see the count of sessions on our platform break the previous high, we work on making sure the infrastructure is all set to meet today's demand.
What do you enjoy most about our culture?
The constant collaboration is incredible. I enjoy helping automate the tasks my team and other teams do on a day-to-day basis.
Elevate K-12's mission is to bring high-quality instruction to all students, no matter their zip code. What do you like most about impacting students in this way?
Education itself is an enlightening experience. With Elevate K-12, I feel proud that we are able to help teachers give this experience to students virtually. Schools are already doing great by giving education to all but we help schools and students meet each other so that education is now not just for everyone but also everywhere.
Describe your best moment at Elevate K-12. Be specific!
I enjoy all small achievements, and there are many at Elevate K-12. I especially like the moments when a recurring issue faced by our clients or our teams is finally resolved.
Tell us a little more about who you are - what do you like to do?
I like things better when they are arranged in proper order. I think that is why I love to have processes that are in place and are being followed. I love to minimize human intervention in processes, for the simple reason that we can do so much more if we automate our routine work. I am an artist and try to work on independent projects when I have some time. I once did a Rangoli larger than 10 x 10 feet.
Thanks, Siddharth K.
