The nationally recognized and rapidly growing live-streaming education and technology company will be adding more than 1,000 experienced and highly qualified remote teachers to help support school systems across the country.

Elevate K-12, the leading provider of high-quality live streaming instruction for K-12 classrooms, is announcing its Elevate Teachers Initiative to bring on more than 1,000 new teachers over the next six months. As demand for virtual education continues to grow amid the COVID-19 pandemic and traditional school systems seek help to fill curriculum gaps brought on by the teacher shortage, Elevate K-12 is offering talented educators across the country a new way to teach.

As part of the initiative, the company has been actively adding talent in every market throughout the nation. Elevate K-12 boasts a state-of-the-art live teaching solution, solving the teacher shortage plaguing schools and allowing teachers to expand their impact by working with students from varying towns and cities, all within the same day.

“The demand for live virtual instruction is higher than ever before as a result of the ongoing teacher shortage which has been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on schools, students, and teachers,” Elevate K-12’s founder and Chief Executive Officer Shaily Baranwal said. “Elevate K-12 is diligently working to meet that demand and support traditional school curriculum through live virtual instruction with qualified teachers who specialize in more than 50 subjects ranging from American Sign Language to Computer Science.”

Other fields of instruction available for add include Math, English Language Arts, Science, Spanish and more.

When teachers join the Elevate K-12 team, they gain the chance to make a difference in any school, along with the ability to create their own schedules without committing to a daily commute for a full day of instruction five days a week. Elevate K-12 teachers leverage nationally and state-aligned curricula developed by Elevate’s renowned academic team.

“Our initiative to add more than 1,000 teachers will quickly help to address the nationwide teacher shortage as high-quality, certified teachers will be able to live-stream immediately into classrooms while being remote from their homes,” said Elevate K-12’s Chief Operating Officer Kim Kross.

Those interested in becoming an Elevate K-12 teacher can expect competitive compensation, flexible hours to accommodate work/life balance, optional professional development, and the perk of a 100% remote work environment. Additionally, Elevate teachers are not saddled with classroom management or daily lunch duty. Instead, a paraprofessional is assigned to each teacher to assist with grading and parent-teacher communication, as well as building an appropriate curriculum. This support allows Elevate teachers to focus entirely on teaching their craft and building trust and rapport with their students.
